He has appeared as concerto soloist with a number of leading British orchestras, including the Hallé Orchestra, the Milton Keynes City Orchestra, the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, the Scottish Sinfonietta, the Strathclyde Sinfonia, Camerata Scotland, the Scottish Baroque Soloists, and the Paragon Ensemble, with whom he has appeared as a soloist on a number of occasions. Peter is working through a series of ten CDs for Divine Art featuring all of the 90 Piano Sonatas of Baldasarre Galuppi, the last great composer of the Venetian Republic.
